EPP Campaign for Hydrogen Bank-Spyrakis: EU's goal to produce up to 10 million tons of green hydrogen with electrolytes The Commission's initiative aims to achieve the targets set with REPowerEU for the production of 10 million tonnes of renewable hydrogen in the EU by 2030, in the context of the EU's policy of weaning off fossil fuel imports and addressing the climate crisis, in EU's transition path towards climate neutrality by 2050. The goal will also be achieved with the parallel import of an additional 10 million tonnes of hydrogen.
